8 rescue dogs are accommodated in a giant bed built by a couple.

Why not give our dogs the best of everything, including a comfortable bed to sleep in as we love them as family? According to studies, women actually sleep more soundly next to dogs than they do next to people.

As your bed only has so much space, it could be challenging to sleep next to all of your dogs if you have numerous dogs. Chris and Mariesa Hughes found it difficult to get a good night's sleep because they shared their bed with eight rescue dogs rather than just one!

They came up with a fantastic idea on how to make it work for all of their pet dogs without kicking them off the bed every night.

Mike Ford, a furniture manufacturer who enjoys dogs, was engaged by the Clifton Park, New York, couple to build the "mega-bed." It took six months to make this gigantic bed. It is significantly larger because it combines two mattresses.

A king-size mattress is on top of the bed, and a full-size mattress is positioned diagonally below it. The six-foot-tall headboard features charming hand-carved paw prints. For the benefit of the older dogs, the bed also contains built-in steps and side storage.

The Hughes family founded "The Mr. Mo Project," a nonprofit organization that aids in finding loving homes for aging and ill shelter dogs. Very kind individuals; keep up the Fantastic work!
