Hero the dog resides with his owner on the streets. Hero's owner knew he couldn't provide for him even though he loved him very much. He delivered him to a Californian rescue agency. Due to congestion, pets are frequently sent up to British Columbia. Hero was one of the fortunate animals chosen to find his forever family.

When Sarah and her husband discovered about Hero, Sarah—who works with the homeless—thought it might well be fate. When they first saw him, Sarah knew she wanted the puppy, but she played it off casually with her husband so she wouldn't influence his opinion.
Nevertheless, as soon as Sarah acknowledged how much she lusted after and loved him, her husband intervened and declared he felt the same way.
Hero had finally found his perfect parents and it was time to move into his dream house. Hero is strong and muscular, yet Sarah describes him as a "velvety bag of rocks" because of the way his skin squishes and folds in odd places. Hero is so adorable! And it makes reasonable that his parents would spend their entire lives to him.
Hero hates all kinds of physical activity. He will go for a walk and then want to come right back to the house. Sarah speculates that the reason why his home is currently the most comfortable place for him is that he spent so much time outside.
It's a great way to meet new folks. When Hero is scared or ill, he goes inside the bathroom and lies on the bath mat. That is his safe sanctuary. When Sarah went back home one day, she was having a difficult time. Hero really went into the bathroom and dragged the bath mat over to her to make her feel safe. Amazing, I tell you.
